Move/5000: Base association

 

Enable wireless communication between your terminal and a functional base. Learn how to associate your device to a functional base.

 

 

Base association

  1. Ensure that terminal is within range and is off the base.

  2. From the Home Screen with the Chase logo, press the green [Enter] key to access the Main Menu.

  3. From the Main Menu, select ADMIN with the gear icon on the bottom left of the screen.

  4. Select [3] for Setup Menu.

  5. Enter Manager ID and Password, then press Enter.

  6. Select [2] for Communications.

  7. Select [5] for Bluetooth.

  8. Select [1] for New Base.

  9. Terminal will prompt to dock terminal on the base.

  10. Terminal will display the Base Association OK prompt once the base is successfully connected.

  11. Terminal can then be lifted off the base.
